Claudio Zarantonello’s passion for his land has deep roots: it stems from the tradition of his family, which has always been dedicated to local agriculture.

After several years of activity, the turning point came with the sowing of the first watermelons and the gradual specialisation in this type of cultivation: it marked the beginning of a new path, characterised by commitment and dedication, and the fruits of this work were not long in coming with the recognition of the special quality characteristics of his products.

“We are ready to look to the future, but without forgetting the teachings of those who came before me: the history of my family remains the real daily nourishment of my work,” these are the words with which Claudio comments on his latest achievement: joining the Consortium for the protection of the Anguria Reggiana IGP.
